On 21 November 2025, Alexander Döll, Chief Executive Officer of the Methanol Institute, and Zhao Kai, Chief Representative for China, visited CNTY. Chairman Yan Shengjun extended a cordial welcome to the delegation, with Vice President Tu Haihong and Wang Bin, Senior Manager of the Hydrogen Energy Industry Marketing Department, attending the meeting.
Chairman Yan extended a warm welcome to Alexander Döll and his delegation. He noted that the Methanol Institute stands as a vital international partner for CNTY within the green methanol industry. The integrated energy project currently being advanced by CNTY features long-term planning and extensive application scenarios. Moving forward, the company hopes the Methanol Institute could provide greater professional guidance and support for the development of the hydrogen industry.
Alexander Döll expressed his delight at visiting CNTY shortly after assuming the role of CEO of the Methanol Institute. He emphasised that promoting the gradual replacement of grey methanol with green methanol is a key development direction championed by the Methanol Institute. He further noted that CNTY possesses globally leading scale and innovation capabilities in the green methanol industrial chain, positioning it to become a significant contributor to the future global green methanol industry.
